Experience in real estate

After his studies, he started out as a municipal evaluator for Québec City, moving on to occupy that same position for an important company in the same city. He was then director of real estate appraisal at the regional county municipality of the Laurentides for five years. With that large amount of experience under his belt, he launched his own real estate appraisal firm, Évaluation immobilière Laurentides, in 1989.

In addition to real estate appraisal, he has gained considerable experience in the evolution of materials, building standards, and the housing needs of different clientele and markets.
